As you may be aware I  came back from a 10 day trip to the west coast of the USA last week.

And, like many Australians I find it somewhat amusing to learn what West Coast American’s really think of us.  Now some of this will not be news to you – but I need your advice on what we really want them to know.  But I will get to that.

So despite Russell Crowe, vegemite and Tim Tams this was what most of my conversations with Americans in America seemed to include these 5 topics.

  • We don’t speak English  (Apparently we sound like South Africans)
  • That the Outback is just near Sydney
  • We are all great swimmers
  • They know nothing about Australian business or innovation unless it has made the movies or has to do with Steve Irwin
  • And that New Zealand is bigger in population and land mass

This kinda annoyed me – A LOT! I thought we would have made a much bigger impact on the USA by now. (and I felt so stuck in the 1970’s and yes I am old enough to remember the 70’s)

So I am now going to do something about this

I am presenting at the Most Awesome conference in May

awesome conference

And I thought it would be awesome (did you get that) to share with these USA Peeps (so far I am the only non American………….oh wait there’s a Canadian guy going) what Australians really know, do, and how we serve our client’s.

So I want to create a list of the things we want American’s to know about Australians

And I will present this list as a part of my keynote at this conference.

So all you have to do is add your comment to the bottom of this blog post – that means you need to  leave a comment so that I can create this list and then use it as a part of my presentation.

OK and GO!

Here’s to your success

P.S. Do you know someone who would be able to help us re educate the American’s on what Australians are really capable of, then share the love – lets go!

Being called to level up in your Private Practice?

Here is how you do it.

Thank you for joining me. I look forward to being of value to you.
