As health professionals, we are always learning
We value learning clinical skills over pretty much everything else …
We value learning new techniques & modalities
We value the certificates, accreditations, the letters after our name
They make us feel competent
Until you realize that even with all the letters after your name you still don’t feel competent
You still question, why someone would want to work with you
You haven’t got that program created because you know of others who are better than you
Despite the fact that you receive referrals from some of the most influential people in your field
Despite the fact that you have been in practice for 15+ years and support your family
Despite the fact that you have peers seeking you out to help them.
No amount of letters after your name, certificates of commendation, or awards will EVER help you to feel competent enough to create that thing that you know is needed.
It’s not a competence issue
It’s not even a confidence issue
And it’s certainly not a motivational issue
It’s a MINDSET issue.
When you consistently question your value, when you constantly question why someone would want to work with you; when you constantly compare yourself to those you think are better than you you end up shrinking.
You send out a vibe into the world that says, I’m small.
And in being small you are saying – I have no influence, I can’t effect change. Which you have interpreted to mean – I have nothing to offer.
This week in the You The Entrepreneurial Clinician community we had an incredibly powerful hot seat that addressed this specific issue.
And for a long time before joining You The Entrepreneurial Clinician, the participant was coached and mentored to do more!
Schedule yourself better; just make the time to do it; learn how to market this thing.
She was even shamed into believing she wasn’t working hard enough, which was adding to her sense of “I’m not good enoughness”.
Her problem was never about hard work. The problem was she was offered the wrong solution to her problem.
And once she received the right help at the right time
Once that mindset block was genuinely cleared and not clouded by guilt, shame, and more work
This happened
And it’s the MINDSET that gets in our way of being able to enjoy the freedom and flexibility that practicing entrepreneurial thinking brings.
We are learning beings.
We know how to learn – the key is how we implement Entrepreneurial thinking
Are you ready to get out of your own way?
Then you are ready to join You, The Entrepreneurial Clinician community where we can make that happen TODAY
We are waiting for you
