What do you need your money to do for you?

This is such an empowering question. And it’s one that I have been using a lot in the You, The Entrepreneurial Clinician community during June.

One of the most powerful mindset shifts we can make is accepting that we are not at the mercy of money.

We may not like the way a capitalist society operates, or the way that finance dictates how our values are shaped, but right now, this is the world we find ourselves in.

And, it doesn’t matter how long you have been in business for,

Or if you are in a solo practice,

Or a group practice.

If you have multiple sites,

If you have multiple streams of income,

There will always be a money story that you are running.

There is a way you can change this story. And it’s by getting into a state of curiosity and asking yourself – what do I need to do for me?

For me, I need money to keep me safe. Yep, it’s back to good old Abraham Maslow and his hierarchy of needs.

When I feel unsafe about money, things get all kinds of uncomfortable. If I start to feel like I can’t pay my bills, or put food on the table, or pay for my health care, or for the roof over my head – then I get anxious.

This question helps me so much in the running of this business, especially when things get lean. And right now, things are lean.

If I know that I need money to make me feel safe, then what is it about money that makes me feel safe?

It’s not some magical number in my bank account because there’s no security in that, because I will always be wondering if I have “enough”.

How money helps me to feel safe is knowing that I have what I need to meet my obligations, requirements and needs.

Which means you need to know how much money you need to fund your life, then you can create a business that helps you fund your life.

Yet too many health professionals experience deep shame and fear about these numbers.

It really is time to get this money stuff out of the way so that you can build a business that serves the life that you want to live.

That time is now –

Come join me in You, The Entrepreneurial Clinician this month were I will be sharing a fantastic tool that will help you see in black and white, what resources (aka money) you will need to fund your life that you want to live.

AND you don’t have to do this alone, the power of this community is being with like-minded people who shares the same fear, and hesitations that you do.

Let me help you feel safe when it comes to money in your business.
