Hello there, lovely readers! It’s time for an update on all things symposium-related.

So, here’s the scoop: the 2024 International Future Proofing Health Professional Symposium is now becoming the 2025 International Future Proofing Health Professional Symposium.

Yes, you heard that right. Why the change, you ask? Well, let me fill you in.

With my sabbatical plans, my health considerations, and the shifts in my business since December 2023, I’ve come to a realisation—I simply can’t stretch myself that thin anymore.

If I’m going to stay true to my integrity and walk the talk, hosting the symposium this year isn’t feasible. There just isn’t enough of me to go around to make it happen.

Now, I’ve already reached out to those who expressed interest, letting them know firsthand that it won’t be taking place. It’s all about fairness, courtesy, and respect. But for those of you wonderful souls who have already snagged tickets, fear not! Reach out to us at hello@jomuirhead.com, and we’ll make sure to issue you a full refund. Yes, you heard that right again—I’ll absorb the fees. I want to uphold my integrity in what I say, preach, and how I live my life.

Last year’s symposium was a bit of an eye-opener for me. During my presentation, while chatting with the community in the café afterward, something just didn’t sit right. It was a moment of self-realisation, a realisation that I needed this sabbatical to figure out who I am and what I’m truly about—a bit of an existential crisis, you could say. This introspection has led to significant changes in my business, but that’s a story for another day.

So, here I am, sharing this vulnerable moment with you. It’s important to practise what we preach, right? My work life is taking on a new shape, something I’m still figuring out as I go along. But fear not, the symposium is not cancelled, just postponed to 2025. I’m already in the works to line up quality speakers, and I’m on the hunt for sponsorships to ensure our speakers are properly compensated for their time and expertise.

If you have any questions about your tickets or refunds, remember to shoot us an email at hello@jomuirhead.com, and Debbie will be there to assist you with your full refund.

I’m looking forward to catching up with you all again soon, sharing more about my business journey and the insights from my sabbatical. Until then, keep being your awesome selves!
