Do you sometimes wonder if you are really making a difference at all?

Here’s how you will change the world.

.

Health professionals choose to become health professionals to help people.

Underlying your desire to help is your desire to bring about change.

You don’t accept the status quo!

You have a big vision.  You want to make a difference in the lives of others – as well as your own.

But, unless you know how to communicate your mission in a way that’s meaningful to your potential clients, your message will go unheard and unseen.

And you won’t make the difference you know you can make.

Sharing your message effectively means you will attract more people to serve.

3 ways to powerfully share your message (without feeling salesy)

 #1. Speak human to human

Stop with the clinical speak!  Stop with the diagnostic language.

Stop trying to impress your peers.

Speak about how your mission touches the lives of real people – the type of people your prospective clients can relate to.

No matter how many letters you have after your name, how many courses you have done, or how long you have been a health professional, no one really cares unless they can see directly how you can help them.

#2. Keep it all about them

STOP making your message all about you – it’s not, it’s all about them.

Your story might be about you but always keep it  in the context of others, of the people you want to be able to serve.

The best way to attract people to you is to talk about them and about what is important to them

#3. Think Big Picture

No one cares about you.  They care about the outcome you can create for THEM.

Resist the temptation to share the How of what you do. Too often sharing the HOW alienates people who aren’t ready for the HOW yet  ( the how is best kept to the place of the clinical intervention)

Remember the people we are attracting are going to be vulnerable, scared, feeling uncertain.  Don’t make it difficult for them to relate to you.

Your job is to show them that you get them and care about what’s important to them.

Your role is to be the bridge – bridging this vulnerability gap so that people who read your blog, or social media post, or watch your TikTok, or read your book are so confident that you can help that they reach out and ask.

Are you ready to  communicate in a way that helps the right people be attracted to your mission through your message?
